Out of all the wonderful things that my Silhouette can do, making t-shirts is by far my favorite!  A good friend of mine has a teenage girl that is obsessed with monograms.  A few weeks ago she brought over a handful of blank t-shirts and we went to town!  Here is one we made together: a Mason Jar Monogram T-Shirt!

So what do you think?  Pretty awesome, right?  Well the good news for is that we are prepared to give this beauty to you via a FREE CUT FILE!  Whoot whoot!

  8. Brittany

Who knew mason jars could be so adorable?? This looks great 🙂 I especially love the bow!

  9. Pam Tucker

How do you get the bow pink and jar black when the bow is attached to the lines of the mason jar and can’t be released to move it to cut a different color? New at Silhouette. TIA

    1. Becky Dykes (Post author)

Hi Pam! You just need to ungroup the items. You can do this by clicking on the image, then right-click to get to the shortcut menu and select ungroup. This should seperate the bow and monogram for you. Let me know if this doesn’t work for you! If you’re doing a shirt, don’t forget to mirror your image!

  10. Beverly

Is this a print and cut?

    1. Becky Dykes (Post author)

No ma’am, you just cut with regular heat transfer vinyl. You’ll need to mirror the image prior to cutting.

  11. Michelle from Weekend Craft

So cute! My two favorite things mason jars and monograms.

  12. Jessi @ Practically Functional

Oh my gosh, too cute! Thanks for sharing the cut file!

How do you change the monogram? Sorry!! Newbie to the Silhouette world!

    1. Becky Dykes (Post author)

No problem Michelle! To change the monogram, you have to have your own monogram font, you won’t be able to change it from the downloaded file. I purchased the Vine Monogram font at Font Bros I believe. If you need the link, let me know and I’ll give it to you. It was about $20.

  16. Nicole

how do you cut just the mason jar outline out? My cameo cuts the whole mason jar in one big shape…Then I can’t put it on the shirt or its a whole mason jar instead of the outline..

    1. Becky Dykes (Post author)

I’m so sorry I just saw your question. Move the bow and monogram off to the side then select the whole mason jar and create compound path. Hope this helps.

  17. Delia

Do you have to have the designer edition to be able to download these?

    1. Becky Dykes (Post author)

No because it’s a Silhouette Studio file. Hope this helps.
