With Christmas right around the corner, we have been super busy with all of our holiday crafts!  One of my favorite mediums are charger plates from the Dollar Tree.  I was lucky enough to find some still in stock, so I grabbed them and rushed home to use them any way I could think of!  So today, for you, we have a Chalkboard Charger Inspiration + Giveaway!

What is the giveaway, you ask?  Check it out, it’s pretty AMAZING!

December Silhouette Giveaway with My Paper Craze

Exciting, right?  Be sure to stay tuned for your chance to enter!  But first, let’s check out our project:  Christmas Chalkboard Countdown Charger {with a FREE cut file!}

Christmas Chalkboard Countdown Charger by My Paper Craze

As you can see, I chose a red charger and painted black chalkboard paint in the center.  Once dried, I used white vinyl for the outer dot circle and the “days until Christmas” phrase.  The number 17 is written in chalkboard marker so that we can reduce the number of days the closer we get to Christmas!  The kids are really excited each day we get to write the new number on the countdown!  I added the burlap chevron bow with jingle bells for a little extra pizzazz and we love it!

DecoArt Americana Chalkboard Paint (Amazon)

White Chalk Marker (Amazon)

Red Plastic Charger – I purchased mine from the Dollar Tree, but they can also be purchased on Amazon in case they are out of stock (they go quick!)

White Permanent Adhesive Vinyl (Expressions Vinyl)

Chevron Burlap Ribbon – scraps from a prior project (Hobby Lobby)

Red and White Jingle Bells – extra from last year (Hobby Lobby)
