Hello Friends! It’s that time again, our monthly Silhouette Challenge Group Post! Yippee! This month’s challenge theme is PARTIES with a bonus challenge of FREE CUT FILES! And as always, our fellow Silhouette Challenge Group have some pretty amazing products to offer up!
One little craft I’ve learned to make are the subway art birthday signs, but man can they be a pain in the butt. Choosing fonts, arranging the info, adjusting sizing, finding and inserting graphics. But never fear, we have one for you that is relatively versatile and we’ve done all the hard work! Introducing, our 50 Years Ago Birthday Sign!
So what do you think? Pretty awesome, right? Well the good news for is that we are prepared to give this beauty to you, for FREE, in both Silhouette Cut File and printable PDF! Whoot whoot!
Now I know what you are thinking, why in the world would you want the cut file, this isn’t a cutable project. Well, for two reasons: #1, you could technically do a large cut file to create your own PVPP poster. Second, if you have Silhouette Studio, you can go in and edit any of the information you want to and customize it even further for your recipient.
We even have a list of fonts we used (yippee). While the list is quite overwhelming, most of these came standard with my computer on Windows 8. I have tried to insert links to those that you might need to download:
Algerian | Scriptina Pro | Impact | Copperplate Gothic Light | Freestyle Script | Gloucester MT Extra Condensed | The Skinny | Grinched | Broadway | Strawberry Whipped Cream | Agency FB | Elephant | School Book New | Arial Unicode MS | Eras Bold ITC | AR Cena | KG Arrows | AR Delaney | AR Blanca | Gill Sans MT Ext Condensed Bold | Courier New
Also, to add a little more pazzazz to the mix, we’re going to pass on a trade secret. Did you know that you can get SAME DAY board prints from Walgreens (and most office and photo printing stores). I use Walgreens because they have a 24 hour photo lab righ around the corner from my house. Of couurse, you can print on your home printer in the standard 8.5″ x 11″, but imagine a whopping 16″ x 20″ or even 20″ x 30″! You can check out the Walgreens Custom Posters for more information on pricing and availability.
