Thanks Karen! My nephew starts Kindergarten this year so we’re really hoping he’ll pose for a picture. We may have to resort to bribery but it’ll be worth it. lol Thanks for stopping by.

What a lovely project to remember that first day of school! The dork in me would probably use them every year no matter how old the kids got. But then again, they’d probably resist!

I love your sign. I do a first day of school sign each year and am currently working on this year for my son. I am using a very similar idea as this one too. Great crafting minds think alike! :-)

I think what makes kids anxious is the homework and the teachers (well, for my kid anyway!), but making the craft together would be good way to ease their fears :-)

Very cute! I wish I had thought to do this when my daughter was little. I have pics from each first day, but nothing as cute as this. :)

Thank you so much! I am new to the cameo so I’m still learning, and I can’t seem to figure out how to edit the studio file to put in my child’s information? I’ve tried Ungroup and that doesn’t work…. Please advise? Thanks :)
